Each year the league referee's select someone for the OMYFA Sportsmanship award.  This goes out to a player from each organization who shows dedication to the sport, as well as good on and off the field sportsmanship with other teams.  In 2015 two kids were selected, and in 2016, four.   With the passing of Coach Mark Ereg, the referee's decided to name the award in Berkley as the "Mark Ereg Sportsmanship Award".
